Two skins with the same wrinkle don't necessarily need the same treatment.
Faced with a wrinkle, sagging skin or a dull complexion, it's tempting to look straight for "the" treatment that will fix it. Yet at the institute, the first step is never choosing a treatment — it's a diagnosis.
Two clients may present the exact same frown line, the same loss of firmness or the same feeling of tired skin, without the underlying cause being the same. Skin thickness, hydration, sensitivity, sun exposure history, or medical background (pregnancy, treatments, scarring) all directly influence the right protocol. A treatment that works beautifully for one person may be poorly tolerated, or simply not relevant, for another.
Before any protocol, time spent talking things through helps us understand lifestyle habits, real expectations — an instant glow, or a gradual, long-term result? — any contraindications, and availability for follow-up. It's this conversation, combined with a clinical assessment of the skin, that points to the right combination of treatments — never the other way around.
Radiofrequency, HIFU, LED photobiomodulation and Valmont rituals aren't interchangeable: each addresses a specific goal and skin type. Systematically offering the same protocol to every client would mean ignoring what makes each skin unique. Trained as a nurse anaesthetist before specialising in aesthetics, I apply that same rigour of assessment to every treatment plan: understand first, act second.
This commitment to precision is only set to grow: the institute plans to introduce an imaging-based skin diagnostic tool, to help objectively assess certain criteria — hydration, texture, pigmentation — alongside clinical expertise.
